Can I really learn in an automatic car?
Yes you can, and lots of people do. Whether you are starting from the beginning or switching from learning in a manual car, you can learn to drive and pass your driving test in an automatic car.
What do I need to do first?
Simple. If you don't already have one you'll just need to get yourself a provisional driving licence from The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). This costs £34 when you order online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-first-provisional-driving-licence
Do have I to pass the theory test first?
No, you can get started with driving lessons right away with your provisional driving licence. You don't have to pass a driving theory test first. I can help you to prepare for the theory and hazard perception test if you need help with that.
What car will I be learning in?
Your tuition vehicle will be the automatic, hybrid Honda Jazz. It's safe, comfortable, smooth, quiet inside, easy to drive and better for the environment.
What areas do you cover?
I cover most Chester postcodes from CH1 to CH4. I also cover Ellesmere Port postcodes CH65 and CH66. I exclusively cover Chester Driving Test Centre for driving tests in this area.
Where do lessons start and finish?
You'll normally start your lessons from your home address. If you need to start and finish lessons from work, school, university or college, as long as it's in an area I cover, that's fine.
How long are lessons?
I offer and recommend a minimum lesson duration of 90 minutes. I also offer half-day (3 hour) and full-day (6 hour) courses when availability allows.
What are your prices?
Weekday lessons of 90 minutes: £75 each. Block of 4 x 90 minute weekday lessons: £285. Blocks cannot be booked online - they must be booked in person with your instructor.
